Our very own Santa made a house call yesterday (Thursday 12th Dec 2019) to meet the very lovely Flossy and her mum, Sue.

Flossy is a 9ish year old rescued Staffordshire bull terrier, who is such a sweetheart and she has completely fell on her paws when she was adopted by Sue.

Santa popped round to wish them both a very Merry Christmas and to have some fuss with Flossy too, as Flossy had never met Santa before! Santa says that it was a joy to meet both Sue and Flossy and that they are both on the ‘nice’ list this Christmas.

Flossy and Santa

We would also like to thank them both for the very kind donation made to our rescue. We really are very grateful indeed.

***We have great news here at Last Chance Coventry Ferret Rescue HQ***

We are over the moon to be able to tell you that our grant application to Support Adoption For Pets has been accepted! This means that we can now have bespoke ferret housing built to our own needs at the rescue. They will be warm and dry, without the need for constant repairs! We are so excited and can not wait to see the ferrets’ faces when they’re in their brand new enclosures. So a HUGE thank you to all the staff at Support Adoption For Pets – this really means the world to us!

We wanted to say a big thank you to Pets at Home #Nuneaton for nominating us as a #VIPClub charity for their store.

This means that whenever a customer of that store selects us as their charity, they’ll raise Lifelines for us, which get turned into cash and can help us buy food, bedding and anything else we need to keep the animals in our care healthy and happy.

If you’re already a member and want to select us as your charity or would like to join the VIP club, then visit their website here

We are now a registered charity (charity number 1183440). An amazing thank you to our trustees. Whoop! Whoop!

We are aiming to raise enough funds, so that we can purchase purpose-built housing for the ferrets that we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome. Looking at similar arrangements, we are aiming for the huge target of £5000! Yes, this might seem a lot in one go, but our current housing is being patched up on top of previous repairs and there is only so much we can do with what we have. Therefore, to give the ferrets the best chance, we have decided to take the plunge and go for brand new.

If you are unable to donate financially, please do share this amongst your friends, family and colleagues. We are really grateful for everyone’s help!If you are able to donate, please click the link below:
